Reliable & Professional Process

ESTIMATES, PRODUCTION PROOFS, & TIMELY COMMUNICATION

We begin with an initial consultation to determine your project’s scope, budget, and timeline and whether it is suited to my availability and capabilities. Once in accord, I’ll provide an accurate estimate specifying materials and labor, production proofs for revisions, and a final quote. A deposit of 50% secures your project for production, final payment due on delivery. Depending on the complexity of the project, timelines vary between one to four weeks. I belong to a network of diverse craftsfolk and am always pleased to provide a referral for projects outside my studio’s scope.

Ready to Get Technical?

CAPABILITIES, GRAPHIC SPECIFICATIONS, & PRICING

To bring an idea into the world can seem daunting without someplace to start. I have put together a PDF with technical specifications, pricing, graphic requirements, and standard materials for working on a custom project. My services include creating original designs and adapting existing graphics for laser engraving, small batch production, and finishing. I can also offer services to help designers take current designs and translate them to be ready for laser engraving. Suppose you are an education provider such as a maker lab, school program, library or a not-for-profit organization. In that case, I make time to donate services and volunteer lectures and lab time.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS ARE SAYING

My heart is beating with love of these designs! thank you so much...You’re a rock star!
— Frank Locantore | Colfax Ave Business Improvement District, Executive Director
Working with Donna has added an entirely new dimension to my woodworking business. For several years, Donna was instrumental in creating and implementing many custom laser engravings for my custom wooden drinking vessels. When I decided to add a laser machine to my own shop, she was kind enough to share her knowledge with me as I learned this new skill. I’m so grateful to her for all her knowledge, help, and generosity!
— Joe Victor, Goodly Woods | Owner & Craftsman
We reached out to The Owl and The Hourglass about a custom laser engraving project for our small business. We were making wallets out of cork fabric and needed to brand them with our logo. Donna helped us prep images for the laser engraving process and gave us a sample of what it would look like at different levels of engraving (light to heavy). Everything was done quickly and we were very impressed with the end results! Customers loved the quality of the engraving as well and we sold out of these products almost immediately. Donna is truly a master of her craft!
