Find me four consecutive Saturdays beginning January 11th as part of the Denver Art Museum’s Demonstrating Artist space, Wild Studio, in the Hamilton Building, steps away from Where the Wild Things Are: The Art of Maurice Sendak exhibit (opens October 13th, 2024- February 17th, 2025. I’ll showcase my artgineering process, including research, marbling wood, and creating boxes and books from the marbled pieces. A new artist will take over the Wild Studio each month and share their process. The Wild Studio space is open to children and adults every day the museum is open, including interactive play and learn areas. One area includes a series of shadow puppets I created based on characters from four different Sendak-illustrated books.
